About the studio

One car at

a time.

Clay Bar started in 2017 in a single bay of an old wool mill in Stroud. We still work on one car at a time, so nothing is rushed and nothing is left half done.

How it works

Four steps from

drop-off to hand-over.

01

Drop-off and walk-round

We look at the car together under daylight lamps and note every mark you care about.

02

Measure

Paint depth on every panel and a gloss reading before we touch it. Thin paint gets a gentler plan.

03

Correct and protect

Wash, decontaminate, polish in stages, then coat or film. One car in the studio at a time.

04

Hand-over

Readings again, photos, a written job ticket and a care card with your next check date.
